Whether you are an existing XJS owner, or you are new to the marque and model, you should seek advice before
parting with your hard-earned money.
There are a great many XJSs out there, some rather better than others, some more desirable than others.
What can you do? Well if you are planning to spend a sizeable sum, you should consider having a proper inspection
done. Motoring organisations can perform this service, but better to have someone who is thoroughly familiar with
the model. JEC members can ask one of our experts for a detailed report. (see here)
On a less formal level, JEC regional members can help sort the wheat from the chaff, before you get a report done.
With a large number of XJSs in JEC members' ownership, many will have Club insurance and that includes 'Agreed Value',
which may give some clue as to the vehicles true value (see here).
